Sign up & first sign-in

Anyone can join — there is no waitlist and nobody approves you by hand — but the sign-up form asks for an access code, which keeps it to people rather than bots. Getting one takes a single email.

Get your code

1. Email signups@beta.propstax.com from the address you want to sign up with. The subject and body do not matter.

2. Watch for the reply. It arrives automatically with your code.

Two things about the code

It is tied to the address you emailed from — sign up with that same address or it will be rejected. And it is good for seven days. If it lapses, email again for a fresh one.

Emailing twice before you use it just re-sends the same code, so it is safe to ask again if you lose it.

Create your account

1. Go to app.propstax.com/signup.

2. Enter the email you requested the code from, and a password. Passwords need 8+ characters with upper- and lower-case letters, a number, and a symbol.

3. Enter your access code.

4. Confirm the password and click Create account.

5. Check your email for a 6-digit verification code. Enter it on the next screen and click Verify and continue.

6. PropStax signs you in and takes you to the plan page, where Start your 30-day free trial begins the trial of Pro. Your card is taken; nothing is charged until the trial ends.

If something goes wrong

• “Enter the access code from your invitation email.” — the code field was empty.
• “That access code is bound to a different email address.” — sign up with the address you emailed from.
• “That access code has expired.” — codes last seven days. Email signups@beta.propstax.com again.
• “That access code has already been used.” — you already have an account on that address. Use Sign in instead, or Forgot password? if you cannot get in.
• No reply to your request. — the reply only goes out if your mail passes standard sender checks. Try from a different address, or contact support.
• The 6-digit verification code did not arrive. — check spam, then use Resend code.
