Rithmic (every-sync prompt)

Rithmic offers no OAuth, so there is no token to keep — PropStax signs in with your username and password on each run and holds on to neither. That is why it asks every time, and it is a deliberate trade: credentials that are never stored are credentials that cannot leak from here.

Each sync

1. Go to Sync in the sidebar.
2. Pick Rithmic as the data feed.
3. Pick your broker from the list.
4. The gateway selector defaults to Chicago Area. Leave it unless you know you need a different one.
5. Enter your Rithmic username and password.
6. Toggle the consent checkbox to confirm you’re authorizing the access.
7. Click Sign in & fetch accounts.

PropStax fetches the list of accounts available on your Rithmic login and takes you to the account picker.

Rithmic limits concurrent sessions

If you are already signed in elsewhere — your trading platform, another Rithmic session, or a recent PropStax sync that has not released yet — you will see a session-conflict notice before you can continue.

You have two options:

• Continue anyways — PropStax shares the slot. Works fine, but heads-up the other session may behave oddly.
• Cancel — close the other Rithmic session first, then come back.

If you’re sure you’re not logged in elsewhere and you’re still seeing the gate, it’s likely a recent PropStax sync that hasn’t released yet. Wait a minute and try again, or just continue.
