Tradovate (one-time OAuth)

Tradovate is the only feed that remembers you. It uses OAuth, so you approve PropStax once in Tradovate’s own login window and every later sync runs without asking for anything — no password ever reaches us.

First-time setup

1. Go to Sync in the sidebar.
2. Pick Tradovate as the data feed.
3. Pick your broker from the list.
4. Click Connect via Tradovate. A popup opens to Tradovate’s login screen.
5. Sign in to Tradovate and approve the access request.
6. The popup closes and PropStax fetches your accounts.

Subsequent syncs

Once authorized, returning to Sync for the same Tradovate broker just shows your accounts directly — no login step. You can re-authorize at any time if you need to (for example, if your Tradovate password changed).

If your accounts don’t load

Sometimes Tradovate doesn’t send the account list, for example when it is busy. The wizard then shows No accounts found, or Couldn’t load your accounts with the reason and a Retry button. Either way, it asks nothing about missing accounts. Press Retry, or go Back and sync again in a minute, and the list is read again. If the reason asks you to reconnect, go Back and choose Re-authorize.

Managing the connection

Active Tradovate connections show up in Settings → Connections. From there you can refresh them (which just sends you back to Sync) or delete them entirely. See Connections.
