Tradovate (one-time OAuth)
Tradovate uses OAuth, which means you authorize PropStax once and the connection persists. Future syncs won’t ask for your credentials again.
First-time setup
- Go to Sync in the sidebar.
- Pick Tradovate as the data feed.
- Pick your broker from the list.
- Click Connect via Tradovate. A popup opens to Tradovate’s login screen.
- Sign in to Tradovate and approve the access request.
- The popup closes and PropStax fetches your accounts.
If the popup is blocked by your browser, see Pop-up blocked during OAuth.
Subsequent syncs
Once authorized, returning to Sync for the same Tradovate broker just shows your accounts directly — no login step. You can re-authorize at any time if you need to (for example, if your Tradovate password changed).
Managing the connection
Active Tradovate connections show up in Settings → Connections. From there you can refresh them (which just sends you back to Sync) or delete them entirely. See Connections.
