What gets created (and what doesn't)
Imported accounts have no trade history and no daily P&L charts. PropStax has nothing to chart unless you sync.
What Import creates:
- The account record itself (broker, type, status, size, drawdown rules).
- Cost entries you list (evaluation fees, resets, subscriptions) — an account can carry multiple dated cost rows, one per dated charge in your file.
- Payout entries you list (when using the spreadsheet upload mode).
Re-uploading the same file won’t duplicate your costs or payouts — entries you’ve already imported are recognized and skipped, so you can safely re-run an upload after fixing a row.
What Import does NOT create:
- Daily snapshots.
- Individual trade records.
- Any analytics on the Account detail page (the Analytics card and Equity curve will be empty).
If your broker still has the account in their system and offers a data feed, use Sync instead — you’ll get the full picture.
