Connections
Settings → Connections lists your persistent broker connections. Today, that means Tradovate — Rithmic and DxFeed don’t store credentials, so they don’t show up here. A personal (real-money) account connects through Tradovate as well, so it appears here alongside your prop-firm connections.
Each broker gets one card. The card shows the broker name, the account count, and the latest sync timestamp. The data feeds connected for that broker appear as badges — a broker synced through more than one feed shows a badge for each. A colored dot indicates sync freshness:
- Green — synced within the last 4 hours.
- Amber — synced within the last 24 hours.
- Red — synced more than 24 hours ago, or never.
Refresh vs. Delete broker — two very different actions
Refresh just re-runs the sync for the whole broker. Click it and PropStax takes you to the Sync wizard with this broker pre-selected. Your data updates; nothing is removed.
Delete broker removes the broker AND every piece of data tied to it — every account, every snapshot, every cost, every payout — across all of its feeds by default. For Tradovate, it also revokes the OAuth token so PropStax can no longer access your account. This cannot be undone.
Use Refresh when you want fresh data. Use Delete only when you’re done with the broker for good.
Deleting
Click Delete broker on the broker card. A popup opens explaining exactly what will be deleted (with account count and a “this cannot be undone” warning). If the broker is connected through more than one feed, the popup includes a feed picker so you can delete only a subset of feeds instead of all of them; by default every feed is selected. Type DELETE to enable the action, then click Delete forever. For large brokers with hundreds of accounts, the delete can take several seconds — the popup shows a progress message.
Adding a new broker
Click Connect new broker at the top, or just go to Sync in the sidebar.
