Tag library

Settings → Preferences → Tag library is where you manage every tag you’ve used across your accounts.

Your tag list

Every tag you’ve ever used shows up as a row with:

  • The tag name and color swatch.
  • A count of how many accounts currently use it.
  • A pencil icon (recolor) and a trash icon (delete).

Creating a tag

Type a name in the Add tag input at the top of the library, pick a color, and press Enter or click Add tag. Names are 1 to 64 characters and stored lowercased.

You don’t strictly have to create tags here first — typing any new tag name in the Tags input on an Account detail page, or in the per-row tag input on the Bulk-create wizard, will create it in the library automatically. The library page is for editing what’s already there.

Recoloring a tag

Click the color swatch on any tag row. A palette appears; click a new color. The tag’s color updates everywhere it’s used across all your accounts instantly.

Deleting a tag

Click the trash icon. A confirmation popup shows how many accounts currently use the tag. Confirm to remove it from the library AND from every account using it. There’s no undo.

If you just want to remove a tag from one account, do it from the Account detail page’s Tags row instead — that only un-tags the one account and leaves the tag in your library.
