Account deletion
Deleting your PropStax account is permanent and removes everything PropStax has stored about you. Export your data first if you want to keep records — see Exporting your data above.
What gets deleted
When you confirm account deletion, PropStax removes:
- Every account record.
- Every daily snapshot for every account.
- Every cost entry and every payout entry.
- All broker connections (including encrypted credentials).
- Your profile and preferences.
- Your sign-in (Cognito) record.
There’s no recovery. PropStax cannot restore deleted accounts even within a few minutes of deletion.
How to delete
Account deletion lives on Settings → Profile (under Danger zone), not on Privacy.
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Click Delete account. A popup opens.
- Type DELETE (uppercase, exact match) in the confirmation input.
- Click Delete forever.
PropStax wipes your data, signs you out, and redirects to the login page.
