Account deletion

This is the one action in PropStax with nothing behind it — no confirmation window to change your mind in, no support request that can undo it. If there is anything you want to keep, export it before you start.

What gets deleted

When you confirm account deletion, PropStax removes:

• Every account record.
• Every daily snapshot for every account.
• Every cost entry and every payout entry.
• Every day note and every journal entry, with the pictures on them.
• All broker connections (including encrypted credentials).
• Your profile and preferences.
• Your sign-in record.
• Every AI app connection, and the record our AI sign-in provider keeps of you (your email and the apps you approved). Data an AI app has already read stays with that app’s provider.

Any subscription you have ends at the same moment. Deletion cancels it immediately, and time left in a paid period is not refunded. If you would rather keep access until the period you paid for ends, cancel in Settings → Billing first and delete the account after that date.

There is no recovery

PropStax cannot restore a deleted account, even seconds afterward. Nothing is kept in a recycle bin and nothing is soft-deleted. Export your data first if you want records.

How to delete

Account deletion lives on Settings → Profile (under Danger zone), not on Privacy.

1. Go to Settings → Profile.
2. Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
3. Click Delete account. A popup opens.
4. Type DELETE (uppercase, exact match) in the confirmation input.
5. Click Delete forever.

PropStax wipes your data, signs you out, and redirects to the login page.
