Why my Sunday-night trades appear on Monday

If you trade futures on the CME (most prop firms do), the trading day starts at 5pm Chicago time the day before. A trade you executed at 7pm CT Sunday is part of Monday’s trading session, not Sunday’s.

PropStax displays trades on the trading day they belong to, not the wall-clock date you placed them. That’s why a Sunday-evening trade shows up under Monday on the Calendar. This matches how your broker reports the trade.

The same applies any day of the week, but Sunday → Monday is the one users notice most.

Cash flow events on weekends

For Cash flow mode (payouts and costs), PropStax rolls weekend dates forward to the next Monday. So a payout you log as paid on Saturday will appear on Monday’s tile in Cash flow mode, since brokers process payments on business days.
