Personal Reports

When PropStax is in Personal mode, the Reports page swaps its prop-firm tabs for four built around real money: Performance, Cash Flow, Accounts, and Portfolio. Everything answers “how is my actual trading and my actual cash doing,” not “how close am I to passing an eval.”

Three controls sit under the Reports title and apply to every tab:

  • Period — 7d, 30d, 90d, YTD, 1y, or all. Most figures respect it; the ones that don’t say so below. Your choice is remembered until you change it.
  • Net / Gross — flips every P&L figure and chart between Net (after commissions and fees) and Gross (before). Personal accounts have real fees, so the gap between the two is real.
  • FIFO / Position — how a trade is counted. FIFO counts each round-trip; Position counts a whole enter-to-exit as one trade — so scaling in and out of a single position counts once instead of many times. Your P&L totals stay identical either way; only the trade count, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, and the shape cards reframe. If you scale heavily, expect a much lower trade count and higher win rate under Position.

Each tab loads its own data, so a quiet tab never blocks the others — a cash-only account with no trades still reaches Cash Flow.

Performance

Your trading quality over the period, all reconciled against your broker’s cash history.

  • KPI strip — Net/Gross P&L, Win rate (with the win/loss count), Profit factor (gross profit ÷ gross loss), Expectancy (average net P&L per trade), Avg win, Avg loss, Trading fees (commissions plus exchange/clearing/NFA), and Trades (with the number of trading days).
  • Cumulative P&L — your running total over the period, green while you’re up, red while you’re down.
  • Net daily P&L — one bar per day, above or below the zero line.
  • Trade outcomes — a donut splitting your closed trades into wins, losses, and scratches.
  • Winning days — the same idea by day rather than by trade.
  • P&L by symbol — your top instruments by net result, grouped by product root (so ESH6 and ESU6 roll up to ES).
  • Biggest win, Biggest loss, and Peak drawdown — your two extreme trades plus the largest peak-to-trough decline of your cumulative curve over the period.
  • Hold time — your Average, Median, Longest, and Shortest time in a trade, entry to exit.
  • Long / short — a donut splitting your trades by direction.
  • Streaks & movement — your best winning streak, worst losing streak, current streak, and total ticks moved.
  • Time in trade — bars grouping trades by how long you held them (under a minute, 1–5m, 5–30m, 30m–2h, over 2h) with the P&L in each band.
  • P&L distribution — a histogram of your per-trade results across fixed dollar bands.

All of these reframe with the FIFO / Position toggle — under Position, a scaled-in-and-out trade counts once and its hold time spans the whole position.

Cash Flow

The money moving in and out of your accounts — separate from your trading P&L.

  • KPIsDeposits, Withdrawals, Fees, and Net deposits (deposits − withdrawals).
  • Broker Fees — a donut breaking fees down by the broker’s own description: Liquidation Fee, Market Data Subscription, Entitlement Subscription, and the like. These are account-level charges — not the per-trade commissions on the Performance tab’s Trading fees. Two different buckets, kept apart on purpose. If your broker reverses a charge or hands you a credit, it nets against that type rather than adding to it — so a refunded fee lowers the slice, and the Fees figure is what you actually paid.
  • Cash movement — monthly bars showing net deposits and withdrawals over time.
  • Cash ledger — every cash event in the period (date, type, broker, amount), read straight from your broker. Page it 5, 10, or 25 at a time. The type is the broker’s granular label, not a generic “fee.”

Accounts

A side-by-side comparison of your personal accounts — built to shine when you hold several, across one or more brokers.

  • Standouts — your Most profitable account, Best win rate, and Most active.
  • Account cards — one per account: net/gross P&L, win rate, profit factor, trades, fees, and balance.
  • Cumulative P&L by account — one line per account on a shared chart, plus a Trend by account sparkline grid.
  • Performance by account — ranked bars for Net P&L, Win rate, Profit factor, Expectancy, Commission % of gross (lower is better), and Avg trades/day.
  • P&L share and Balance share — donuts showing each account’s slice of the whole.
  • Account summary — the full sortable table: net P&L, win %, profit factor, expectancy, trades, fees, best/worst day, and balance, one row per account.

If you only have one personal account, this tab simply mirrors your totals — it comes alive with a second account to compare against.

Portfolio

Your whole real-money picture in one place, plus the time-pattern views.

  • KPIs — Net/Gross P&L, Account value, Net deposits, Trading fees, Accounts, and Trading days.
  • Equity curve — your combined trading P&L and account value over time, with deposit/withdrawal markers. It carries its own date range, independent of the period selector.
  • P&L contribution and Value by account — donuts showing which accounts drive your profit and hold your capital.
  • Annual P&L — a full-year heatmap, one cell per day, color-scaled by net P&L. It has its own year arrows, so you can browse years without touching the period. Click any day to open it in the Calendar.
  • Day-of-week performance — median net P&L by weekday, so you can see whether your Mondays carry your Fridays.
  • Time of day — your P&L by hour, in your local time, so you can see the hours you trade best.
  • Activity — trading days, average trades per day, and your most-traded symbol.
