Payout splits

Funded accounts pay out at a profit split — for example, an 80/20 split means you keep 80% of the requested amount and the broker keeps 20%. PropStax tracks both the gross (what the broker debited from the account) and the net (what landed in your bank).

How PropStax uses each

  • Gross — used on the equity curve. When you take a payout, the account’s balance drops by the gross amount, so the equity curve’s Balance line dips by gross. The P&L line doesn’t move (it tracks trading only).
  • Net — used in the Financials ledger and the Dashboard’s Net cash flow tile. This is what actually hit your bank.

Default profit split per account

You can save a default profit split percentage per account so you don’t have to type it on every payout. On the Account detail page, the split percentage is part of the funded account’s metadata. When set, it pre-fills the Add payout popup automatically.
