Editing or deleting entries
Nothing in the ledger is locked. Every cost and payout row in Financials carries two icons:
- Pencil — opens the entry in the same popup you used to create it, with all fields pre-filled. Make changes and click Save changes.
- Trash — opens a delete confirmation. Click confirm to remove the entry.
That includes the payouts saved from a sync’s Balance adjustments window: they open in the same popups as the ones you typed. Deleting one doesn’t bring its question back; the change stays answered.
A cost imported with no date opens with its Date empty, reading No date. Saved that way it stays undated; pick a date and it moves to that day, and into that month’s totals.
The Financial history card on an account’s own page lists that account’s costs and payouts without these icons. Edit or delete them on Financials.
Deletes are immediate but don’t cascade — removing a payout only removes that payout row. Account balances on Account detail pages come from your broker, not from your payout entries, so deleting a payout doesn’t change the balance shown.
Deleting an account is the other way around: its costs and payouts go with it, out of every total on the Dashboard, Financials and Reports. If you want to keep that money in your totals, log it against the broker as a whole (broker-total mode) before you delete the account.

The Save changes button stays disabled until you actually change a field. If you open an entry to look at it and close without changing anything, no network call happens.
Bulk operations
There’s no bulk edit or bulk delete in the ledger. Each entry is one operation at a time. If you need to clean up many entries at once, contact support.
